SLEEP UNDER STONE
(A Novel-in-Progress)

Set against the backdrop of the most famous war in literature, Sleep under Stone is a provocative reinvention of the fall of Troy, first depicted in Homer’s epics the Iliad and the Odyssey. The novel follows its heroine Cassandra, Trojan princess and priestess of Apollo, and the young Greek chieftain, Ajax of Lokris. Their story weaves together the lost threads of this ancient tale. The time when gods and goddesses walked upon the earth was passing; within a generation all the demigods and heroes would be gone as well. What kind of world, would humans create in its place—a world of war or a world of peace?
